Anna tutored me in organic chemistry. Anna is kind and encouraging tutor, who is passionate about organic chemistry and explains complex topics clearly. I had trouble understanding lab techniques such as NMR, and she explained underlying concepts while providing tricks and tips that gave me an edge that I did not have before. I really liked how she tried to come prepared for the sessions (with a modeling kit, another textbook). She can improve on emailing materials when she says she will (as well as answering questions through email promptly).

Anna was such a helpful tutor! I have an organic chemistry final exam coming up and needed help understanding the mechanisms and steps required to solve the problems and she did just that! She helped me with complex problems catering to the way my teacher taught in class and she used the reagents and material my teacher taught in class which made it WAY easier for me to understand. She also was very accommodating and on time with responses and very thorough in her explanations! Anna is passionate, knowledgeable, and driven for OCHEM. She saw my weaknesses and grilled me until I had the material down. She was prepared, she knew the material, and most important, she was able to teach it in a way that I was able to understand it. With her help I went from a low grade to passing OCHEM. I thought it was impossible but by the final, through several tutoring sessions, it all made sense. I'll will certainly use her services for OCHEM 2!! Anna was able to explain some concepts my daughter struggled with in a way that made sense, so my daughter was able to maintain her grade in her chem class. I was also very grateful to Anna for being flexible when our family schedule kept changing and we had to change lesson times. All in all, Anna was very nice to work with, she is knowledgeable about chemistry and able to share that knowledge with her students (which is a big thing, because most high school teachers seem unable to do it). I am thinking of going back to school, and if I do, I will for sure hire Anna for my chemistry tutor, as well as recommend her to others.
